You notice a craps table with several open seats. Which position should you take? That is a matter of individual preference. Is there a captivating man or lady wagering by themselves at one end of the table? Which individuals are smoking? Which look cynical? Which appear intoxicated or annoying? Select a seat where you’ll feel the most at ease.
I like betting on the end, immediately next to the croupier. On the end, I don’t have to be concerned about folks on both sides of me. I do not like wagering near to the stickman because I constantly seem to be in the way of him trying to get the dice or moving the stick.
After playing for a bit, you’ll get a feel for your favored seat. You do not have an option when it’s busy. If you get a crappy spot (for example, an atrocious guy is next to you), simply switch to a different free location. If the table is packed, wait until a person leaves and take their spot. Be aware of a player "coloring up," which is a sign that she’s departing, and tell the dealer that you want to move into her position. The croupier will then reserve that location and not allow a new person to swiftly take the spot. The croupier will amiably request the new player to move to the location that you leave. Obviously, when you switch locations, don’t leave your your chips.
People near you can have an affect on your feeling and full wagering experience. They can make it exciting or miserable. You may get trapped next to a chimney like obese player with horrid body smell, or it may be a bunch of heavily drinking hotties spilling out of their skimpy tops. So, choose your spot wisely.
